Patty Selby

Born and raised in Beaufort County, on the Pamlico River, swimming, boating, and fishing were a way of life, and vacationing on the Crystal Coast was a multi-yearly pleasure. Patty began her career as a Salesperson/Realtor in 1990, gradually increasing her knowledge to incorporate the financial requirements of the real estate industry, working for a nationwide financial institution and two local community banks. She also assisted a hometown real estate closing attorney with closings and property research, an experience that completed the real estate listing and sales triangle. She expanded her education to include becoming a Licensed General Contractor in 2007 and received her Broker in Charge designation in 2009.
In 2016, Patty and her husband Wallace, obtained a second home in the Down East community of Carteret County on Harkers Island. They split their time between Harkers and Bath, serving both communities. They have three grandchildren, who live close to their home in Bath, NC. Patty proudly serves the Beaufort County and Carteret County areas.
Patty also is part owner of Port Bath Builders, a residential construction company her husband started almost 40 years ago and she acts as the company’s admin and logistics mgr.
